I‘ve had a love affair for Paris and the French countryside since I can remember. For the past several years I have been sharing it with my designer peers twice a year through my Paris Décor Tours during Maison and Objet. But, I’ve been dreaming of taking the French “Joie de Vivre” experience to the next level and guess what- this fall I’ll be hosting A Week and A Day– a town and country design vacation from September 27th to October 5th.
During the 8 days, we will experience the best of both worlds. Our tour starts with a weekend in Paris followed by 5 days in the Loire Valley. From our base at the fabulous Grand Luce chateau(owned by extraordinary designer, Tim Corrigan and the subject of a Rizzoli book coming later this year.), we’ll visit French artisans, see the fabulous gardens and castles, wander the markets, shop the brocantes, cook with an expert chef and relax and soak up the French countryside.
Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll see and do if you join us!
